BIO
Jennifer Procter is an interdisciplinary artist working across sculpture, drawing, and moving image. Grounded in mindfulness and movement-based inquiry, her practice attends closely to material, time, and perception.
Drawing on her practices of movement and stillness, she is influenced by Buddhist philosophies of emptiness, impermanence, and interconnectedness. Her work explores how forms emerge, persist, and dissolve through processes of suspension, accumulation, and partial visibility.
Jennifer lives and works in Canberra on Ngunnawal/Ngambri land. Alongside her studio practice, she works as an arts educator, teaching mindfulness, movement, and visual art.
