BIO
Jennifer Procter is an interdisciplinary artist living and working on Ngunawal/Ngambri land. She has been in the arts all her life, training in music, performance, visual arts and working as a director/choreographer/performer, teacher and visual artist. Drawing on her practices of movement and stillness, she is influenced by Buddhist philosophies of emptiness, impermance and interconnectedness.
Jennifer took 8 years break from professional arts to practice meditation intensively in Borneo, Nepal, India and Australia. She has been living in Canberra since then, making art and teaching mindfulness, movement and art.
